Larry Lee Ritter

It is with both sadness and joy that the family of Larry Lee Ritter Sr. announce that he is now in the presence of Jesus in Heaven. He passed on December 9, 2018 at his home in Plano, Texas. He is survived by his wife Virginia Ritter, his children John Ritter, Larry Ritter Jr., Cher’ie Clark, 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. He will also be remembered by his brothers and sisters including, Judy Phillips, Barbara Barrineau, Ronald Ritter Sr., Danny Ray Ritter, Viola Griffin, Charlie Ritter, Elizabeth Ritter.

He left behind a legacy of love, respect, courage, and honor. Those who knew this man called him husband, father, brother, son, pepaw, grandpa, pastor, teacher, warrior, and friend. He served our country in the Army for nine and half years, pastored and pioneered multiple churches, and traveled the world preaching the gospel.

The family will greet friends at a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Allen Family Funeral Options. Words of remembrance will be shared at 7:00. He will then be buried at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with military honors.
