Klarice “Tiny” Kuler Blaylock, 79, joined her husband and parents in the Church Triumphant on November 16, 2017. Born in Ft. Worth on September 26, 1938, to Oscar Godfred Kuler, Jr., and Florence Nadine Boren, Tiny moved to Dallas as a child where she lived the rest of her life and graduated from Highland Park High School. Tiny was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha at SMU where she met Lloyd Darton Blaylock whom she married in 1958. They enjoyed a 58 year marriage until his death just this past July.
Tiny created a welcoming home with Lloyd for family, friends, and employees of Lloyd’s businesses over the years. She fiercely loved and supported her family and was loved by countless friends of her children. She was a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church where she participated in Precepts Bible Study and served as a children’s Sunday school teacher and deacon. She was a children’s leader in Bible Study Fellowship and a member of the New Hope International board and the Wadley Guild. Tiny had wonderful times traveling and spending time with friends but she was most happy in the mountains of Cripple Creek, Colorado or Ruidosa with her family.
Tiny is survived by children Kathryn Blaylock McCarron and husband Michael, Lloyd Gregg Blaylock and wife Alicia, David Darton Blaylock and wife Tonnya, Daniel Kuler Blaylock and wife Chandra, sister Merrily Riley and husband Jim, cousin Dee Boren Ferguson and husband Jim. Grandchildren John Patrick McCarron, Kathryn Darton Evans and husband Todd, Klarice Prindle McCarron, Misty Blaylock Rountree and husband Trey, Grier Martin Blaylock, Darby Darton Blaylock, Lloyd Darton Blaylock II, David Luke Blaylock and wife Maxcey, Joshua Darton Blaylock and wife Caitlin, Hayden Rives Blaylock, six great grandchildren and her nieces and nephews will also miss Tiny.
A memorial service will be held at NorthPark Presbyterian Church, Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Brent Barry officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Casa de Vida: Alzheimer’s and Dementia Respite Care at NorthPark Presbyterian Church, 9555 North Central Expy, Dallas, TX 75231.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Highlands of Dallas for the loving care they gave Tiny.
