Kimberly Adams Dale

January 24, 1960 — May 29, 2023

Kimberly Ann Adams Dale was born on January 24, 1960, in Bryan, Texas, to Billy Ray Adams and Virginia Ann (Carter) Adams, and passed away peacefully in the arms of her savior on May 29, 2023.  Kim (known as Kiki to her family) graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1979 and was a member of the Planoettes Drill Team.  After graduating, she attended Weatherford Junior College and Texas A&M University.

Kiki accepted Jesus Christ as her savior at the age of 8, when her family lived in Lubbock, Texas.  She remained strong in her Christian faith throughout her life, never wavering.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dallas, where she sang in the Chapel Choir.  Kiki considered First Baptist Dallas her home church no matter where she lived.  Later in life, Kiki went to Nigeria on a church mission trip.  She volunteered for the Casa of Dallas, the Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch, and more recently with Hope for the Heart in Plano, Texas. She had a heart for service and always wanted to help somebody in need.

Kiki loved to travel.  Her passport had stamps from all over, including England, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, and Austria.  She had a lengthy career with EDS and obtained her real estate license several years ago.  However, Kiki’s real passion was for Interior Design!

Kiki loved music and had many talents, including playing the piano and writing poetry.  She was very proud to have her poetry published.

Kim is survived by her mother, Virginia Adams of Plano, Texas, her daughter and son-in-law, Lindsay and Russell Cooper of Montgomery, Texas; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Amy and Jon Santee of Allen, Texas and Lara and Clay Sheriff of Prosper, Texas, her two granddaughters Lily and Ella Cooper of Montgomery, her nieces, Madelyn Hague (and Braden Hague), Sara Middleton, her nephew Adam Sheriff, and numerous cousins. Kim is preceded in death by her father Billy Ray Adams and her brother, Stephen Carter Adams.

There will be a celebration of life held for Kim, Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Allen Family Funeral Options with Dr. Jerry Carlisle officiating.  If you wish to join the service via webcast, please visit: http://webcast.funeralvue.com/events/viewer/88817
