Kent A Bauer

Kent A Bauer was born January 29, 1977, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to parents Richard and Gail (MacKay) Bauer. He departed this earthly life on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at the age of forty-five.

Kent grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and was known to be mischievous, always making his family and friends laugh. He loved to learn, explore and was an entrepreneur at heart.

He attended the University of North Texas and was on the Presidents list for having a 4.0 GPA. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Emergency Administration and Planning he got his dream job serving the Town of Prosper as their Emergency Manager.

Kent traveled to Turkey during college but his favorite place to visit was Boston where his Nana lived. His most recent adventure was starting a life with Saira, his wife, and the two of them starting a cleaning business.

His favorite sports were football (LA Rams) and baseball (Chicago Cubs).

Kent was the husband of Saira Bauer, the father of Zachary Williams, Gabriella Bauer, Jashua and Sophia Ortiz, the grandfather of Harley Williams and Haze Giesler (soon to be born), son of Richard “Dick” Bauer, and brother of Jody and Annie Bauer. He was preceded in death by his mother Gail Farrington, maternal grandparents Robert MacKay and Barbara Nardone, paternal grandparents Ovid Bauer and Beulah Miller, and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

There will be a memorial service to celebrate Kent, Friday, December 23, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Allen Family Funeral Options with Pastor Robert Matthews officiating.
