Kenneth W. (Tex) Burrows

January 1, 1990 — July 8, 2017

Kenneth Wayne "Tex" Burrows was born January 1, 1990 in Dallas, Texas to parents Kevin Wayne and Kimberly Helton Burrows. He passed away very unexpectedly into the arms of God on July 8, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was the first son, the first born, the big brother, the friend and even someone that many looked up to. His infectious laugh and huge charismatic presence would not go unnoticed when he stepped into a room full of people. He never missed an opportunity to make others laugh, even if it was at himself. Kenny was a true giver. He was always this way, from a young boy, through his youth and into his adult years. He has never hesitated to help anyone out. That's because no one has ever been a stranger to him. He was always able to make any situation fun or crazy. If you ever really sat down with Kenny and talk to him you would realize that he was just a guy that loved big and lived real. An English poet, who died at twenty-nine years old, wrote the following poem to a young friend who passed. This poem made me stop for a minute and reflect about Kenneth Wayne. Music, When Soft Voices Die: Music, when soft voices die, Vibrates in the memory; Odours, when sweet violets sicken, Live within the sense they quicken. Rose leaves, when the rose is dead, Are heap'd for the belovèd's bed; And so thy thoughts, when thou art gone, Love itself shall slumber on. Percy Bysshe Shelley Kenneth is survived by his father Kevin Burrows and his wife D’Ana, mother Kimberly Robertson and her husband Mark, siblings Justin Michael Burrows and his wife Emiley, Stephanie Burrows, Suzann Robertson, Becca Robertson, Jordon Robertson, Shawn Pedigo, Justin Pedigo, Jordan Pedigo, Shannon Pedigo and Bac Shelton, paternal grandmother Peggy Burrows, maternal grandfather Bob Bouska “Pops/Granddaddy”. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Willie Clyde Burrows and maternal grandmother Carolyn Sue Bouska. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 3-5:00 p.m. at Allen Family Funeral Options, Plano, Texas.
