Keith P Mc Namara

January 18, 1963 — May 8, 2018

Keith P Mc Namara was born January 18, 1963 in Ohio to parents Thomas and Norma (Repetto) Mc Namara.  He passed away unexpectedly May 8, 2018.

Keith was an amazing person. He was a man of integrity, honesty, loyalty, and love. Keith called many places home from Michigan, to Ohio, to Texas, to England, and then back to Texas. He always said his home was where his wife Susan and daughters Maddie and Juliette were. They were his home.

Keith’s true passion and mission in life was his family. Keith and Susan were blessed with two daughters Maddie and Juliette. His wife and children were the joy and center of his world. All he did he did for them. He was the love, the strength, the protector, the provider, and the calm during the storms of family crisis or family struggles. His wife Susan was blessed to have him as the love of her life, the man who held her whenever she needed him. They had a true partnership. They often said how much they truly loved each other and loved just being together. He loved his mom, dad, brothers, sisters, and their families.

He loved his daughters deeply. He was the chief of their Indian Princess Tribes, danced the night away at Daddy/Daughter Dances, cheered as Maddie graduated from high school, and was the president of Vines Spirit Backers, Juliette’s cheer squad booster group. He attended every soccer match, basketball game, dance recital, school play, choir concert, and cheered Juju on as she cheered for Vines High School. He was so proud Juliette made the Plano Senior Cheer Squad. On Thursday, he watched with pride from heaven as his oldest daughter walked across the stage and graduated from Texas A&M.

Professionally he excelled at sales. He started delivering The Grand Rapids Press at age 7. He worked at Super Duper in Worthington, Ohio moving from bag boy to night manager as he attended The Ohio State University. Upon graduation, he began his sales career at NCR from cold calls to landing the Sherwin Williams account. NCR was his work home for almost 10 years. ICL/Fujitsu brought he and his wife to Texas and then to England. He and his family thrived in the UK and made many trips all over Europe. Keith decided to start his own business and became a Farmers Insurance Agent. Again, his integrity, work ethic and honesty helped him build his agency.

Keith’s love, laughter, honesty, integrity, lives on through the beautiful family he created with Susan. Every night he kissed his wife and daughters and said he loved them. He constantly spoke with Maddie when she was at school cheering her on, lifting her up, and laughing and loving her. Keith laid the foundation for his daughters to lead by his example, embrace life, and follow their dreams. He left each day knowing he was loved deeply. Keith’s love will forever be in all our hearts, and his beautiful blue eyes and contagious smile will bring joy to all who knew and loved him.
Keith loved listening to NPR Dallas Public Radio KERA every day as he drove to and from work. In lieu flowers, contributions to NPR/KERA Dallas, would be a lovely tribute to Keith
.
Keith is survived by his loving wife Susan McNamara, daughters Madeline and Juliette McNamara; siblings Janis Spotts and her husband Jimmy, Tom McNamara and his wife Debbie, Dennis McNamara and his wife Cindy; mother in law Winnie Rodgers and his lovable fur babies Spot and Scout. Along with many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

There will be an Evening of Remembrance held to honor and celebrate Keith’s life Sunday, May 13, 2018 from 6-8:00 P.M. with Words of Remembrance spoken at 7:00 P.M. at Allen Family Funeral Options.
