Lois Kathryn (Bunny) King was born June 19, 1949 in Jackson, Mississippi to parents Theodore George and Lina Gertrude (Dillingham) Ashley.
Bunny and Ronald aka "Snake" met on a blind date during their freshman year of college 51 years ago and have been together ever since. They were married in 1972 and were fortunate to have raised two fine young men. She always wanted to be a wife and mother and was truly devoted to the well being of her family. Bunny was described as a kind, caring human being with such a generous heart. She was selfless and loved animals of all kinds; especially her little dog Roxie. Bunny enjoyed birds and there are many bird feeders to be found everywhere around her yard. She enjoyed cooking, loved flowers and gardening and had an appreciation of art.
She was affectionately known as Bunny by all and Ronald refers to her as "his rock" and feels that she was responsible for all the success he had in his career. Her goal in life was to be a great wife and mother and she put nothing above her family. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her; she had a heart of gold and was the kindest woman ever.
Bunny is survived by her loving husband Ronald King; sons Ashley Austin King and Tyler King; granddaughter Jamesee Morton; sister Toni Mc Cleave and two nephews Jason and Scott Mc Cleave.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate Bunny's life Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. at Allen Family Funeral Options, Plano, Texas with a visitation to follow.
