La Frances “June” (Larremore) Morgan, 84, of Plano, Texas was called home to be in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, February 6, 2021.
She was born on May 30, 1937 to Foy Washington Larremore and Mozelle LaDocia Strong in Brady, Texas.
June received her master’s degree from Georgia State University. For more than 40 years she worked for the State of Texas as a Social worker at Texas State Hospital in Terrell, Texas. She would later retire and spend time with her family, traveling back and forth from Texas and Georgia to be with her children and grandchildren.
June Morgan is predeceased by parents Foy Washington & Mozelle LaDocia Larremore, brother Delma Ray Larremore, son Roger Morgan, and daughter Rae Jean Denny.
Daughter Rae Jean journaled some of her favorite stories of June, who spent her childhood in Pontotoc, Texas: how June’s pet goat “ate her grandmother’s flowers and things,” and how she and her teenage friends used to explore the countryside and “chase rabbits with their car head lights at night.”
Those left to cherish her memories are her son Gary Don Morgan (Anita) from Winston, Georgia; son-in-law Brian C. Denny of Plano, Texas; and sister Joyce Larremore Spinks (Beverly). June will be forever remembered by her grandson John Travis (Marci Stanley) of Plano, Texas; granddaughter Jennifer Lynn Davis (Joe) of Plano, Texas; granddaughter Jill Marion Bowen of Royse City, Texas; grandson Auston Ray Morgan (Anna) of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; grandson Roger Lee Morgan, Jr.; thirteen great-grandchildren whom she loved and adored; and numerous nieces and nephews and other loving extended family and friends.
We rejoice that she is now with Jesus and having quite the family reunion in heaven!
In lieu of flowers, June would have encouraged a donation to your favorite charity, or to just help someone out who is in need.
