Jon Harvey Mckeefer
August 30, 1932 — November 1, 2020
Jon Harvey McKeefer was born August 30, 1932 in Smithville, Texas to parents John Harvey and Evelyn Martha (Staub) McKeefer. He was a son, husband, veteran, salesman, dad, grandpa, and great grandpa.
He is survived by his five sons and their wives, 11 grandchildren with 6 spouses, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter expected in March 2021. Also, Ina Mudd, Jon’s former wife, the mother of his five sons and Gracie & Larry Staub. Jon was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Joetta (JoJo), and great grandson Xander.
Our family wants to thank the staff at Vitality Court and Hospice Plus for all their help over the years.
A Vigil will be held to celebrate Jon’s life Sunday, November 15,2020 at 2:00 PM at Allen Family Options with Deacon Vince Vaillancourt officiating.
Jon and Joetta will be laid to rest Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 11:15 a.m., at Dallas/Ft Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway Dallas, Texas.
