Johnnie Lou Burnett

Johnnie Lou Burnett was born June 7, 1944 in Lubbock, Texas to parents John William and Lillian Mae (Cook) Burcham.

She graduated from Levelland High School and on February 3, 1968 she married Bob Burnett. They were married for 47 years and had two children Michelle and Misti. She did a variety of things during her life, from being a teacher’s aide to caring for people in their homes. Johnnie Lou never met a stranger. She always had a smile for everyone that she met, and she loved to laugh.

Johnnie is survived by her daughters Michelle Burnett and her husband Joe and Misti Greer and her husband Clint; cousin Sandra Jensen and her husband Ronnie and their daughter Melissa Campbell and her husband Charles.  She is also survived by many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert (Bob) Burnett, who passed away January 31, 2015 and they will be laid to rest together at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery.

There will be a memorial service to celebrate Johnnie’s life Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Allen Family Funeral Options officiated by Clint Rhodes.
