John F. (Jack) Tokarczyk, Jr. was born October 28, 1936 in Buffalo, New York to parents John F and Hedwig (Sulkowski) Tokarczyk, Sr.
Jack was an avid athlete, played baseball, football and golf. He coached little league for his sons and grandsons and enjoyed watching his daughters and granddaughters at their cheerleading and sporting events. He was a fan of the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and Dallas Mavericks.
Jack was married to his wife Karen for sixty-one years and was the father of five children. He was employed by Xerox Corporation for twenty-seven years prior to retiring from his management position in 1998.
During his retirement, he looked forward to his Friday Night Couples Group. Jack’s favorite place to visit was their condo in Naples, Florida where he enjoyed shuffleboard, happy hour and spending time with their many good friends.
Jack was loved and respected by so many people. Jack truly cherished his family, and was a lifelong, devout Catholic. His wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren meant everything to him. He was a gentle, loving, honest, totally unpretentious man. Jack was completely comfortable in his own skin. He told it like it was, he liked people for who they were, and not for what they had or what they could give to him. He had a keen sense of integrity and was as honest as the day was long. So many who knew him loved his quick-witted humor! Until we meet again, we will miss you and love you every day!
Jack is survived by his loving wife Karen Zacharias Tokarczyk; children, Terri Lynn Schraegle, Donna Marie Murrell and her husband Mark, John (Jack) Michael Tokarczyk, James (Jim) Paul Tokarczyk and his wife Kelly, Robert (Boz) Nicholas Tokarczyk and his wife Michelle; grandchildren, Catherine Schraegle, Colby Schraegle and his wife Katie, Connor Murrell, Tatum and Brock Tokarczyk, Zach and Elle Tokarczyk, Candice Westmoreland and her husband Ryan; great grandchildren, Laurel Schraegle, Micah and Claire Westmorland.
