Jeff Heath

October 24, 1960 — April 8, 2024

Jeffery A. Heath was born October 24, 1960, at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas.  He was the first child born to Harold A. Heath and Katherine Mitchell.

Jeff excelled in the ROTC program at Williams High School (Plano) and continued at Plano Sr. High School where he graduated in 1979. He loved his country, and the highlight of his life was serving in the Air Force from 1984 to 1986 when he was medically discharged.  He was stationed in Europe and loved the opportunity to see many places while there.  Germany was his favorite place to visit during his off time.

After his discharge, he pursued his degree in Accounting at University of Texas at Dallas where he graduated Cum Laude and passed the CPA exam in 2000.

Jeff was a determined, stubborn, strong opinioned (hardheaded) guy, but he was also the kindest, most giving and loving person you can meet who wore his heart open for all who knew him.  Despite the fact he was told he would be in a wheelchair by the age of 35, he would work out and exercise his muscles to keep himself mobile.  He fought this rare disease and won -- Jeff was a FIGHTER, a loving, caring, but stubborn, strong fighter for life.

He loved his family and dear friends, especially his mother. Jeff is survived by his mother, Kathy; sister Sandy and many nieces & nephews:  Chris Bloomer, Jason Bloomer, Michael Heath, Steven and wife Robi Heath, Bobby and wife Brittany Heath, Jenny and husband Ryan Garner, Julie and husband Nathan Shaffer, Mark Heath and Joseph Heath.  Preceding him in death was his father, Harold in 2018 and his brother Dale in 2015.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Jeff’s closest and dearest friends – Amelia, Lewis and Sheryl – who unselfishly helped Jeff on a regular basis and were dear friends to him for many years.

Jeff will be laid to rest in Pickwick-McAdams Cemetery, Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 1:00 pm in Graford, Texas.
