Janice Gail (Andrews) Kranz, age 70, of Princeton, Texas passed away on September 10, 2021 at her home of natural causes.
She graduated from Longview High School in 1969. She was an administrative assistant for the Sulphur Springs ISD for 16 years. She then became an assistant financial officer for SMU for 27 years. Currently, she was employed by Collin College as an administrative assistant.
Janice was married to Edward Kranz for 52 years as of September 6, 2021. Janice was an avid kindle book reader and loved taking cruises with her husband and friends. She contributed to many casinos both on land and at sea.
She is survived by her husband, Ed Kranz of Princeton, Texas; brother, Robert Andrews and his wife Jane of Austin, Texas; son, Jeff Kranz and his wife Tory; three granddaughters; two bonus granddaughters; three nieces; a nephew; numerous grand nieces and nephews and best friend Billie Wood.
A Visitation, for anyone who would like to attend, will take place before the funeral from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Custer Road United Methodist Church, 6601 Custer Road Plano, TX 75023.
The Funeral Service will take place immediately following the Visitation beginning at 12:30 pm. Those who cannot attend may view the service via LiveStream at: https://www.crumc.org/media/watch-live/ .
Janice will then be laid to rest at 9:30 am on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway Dallas, TX 75211.
