Jacob Keith Gross, affectionately known as Jake, departed from us on August 15, 2024, in Plano, Texas, at the age of 49. His life, which began on January 15, 1975, in Muleshoe, Texas, was a testament to the warmth and kindness he shared with his family, friends, and coworkers.
His early years in his hometown shaped a life that was a beacon of warmth and kindness. Jake loved football, fishing, and his motorcycle. He has spent many hours watching every game; his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys, and he is a Texas Tech super fan! (We tried to convert him to a Longhorn fan!)
Jake loved his Harley-Davidson and would go for a ride every Sunday morning. He lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures and spent time with his family daily, playing games, fishing, and simply enjoying time together. Jake kept every promise he made and never missed a sporting event or school function. Jake touched many lives with his kindness and his open heart. He worked as a technician.
The absence of Jake is a profound loss that is keenly felt by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His departure has left a void that can never be filled.
Jake is survived by his wife Lynsey Kendrick; son Brody Kendrick; and a sister Mary Gross.
If Jake touched or impacted your life in any way as he impacted ours, you are welcome to join us at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Allen Family Funeral Options.
