Jacque Burns

January 4, 1955 — January 3, 2022

Jacque Burns was born in Wichita, Kansas on January 4, 1955, to parents Henry and Gloria (Young) Wilson.

Her parents and newborn sister Janet moved to Texas a few years later. Her brother Randy came along after they moved to Texas. Her family moved to Plano in 1962. Jacque graduated from Plano High School in 1973. From early age, Jacque fought battles with many health issues. These experiences led her to Draughon’s Business College where she graduated and started a lifetime journey of working in doctor offices and doing medical transcription. On January 25th of 2004, Jacque married the love of her life, Bruce Burns.

Jacque was the best wife, sibling and aunt anyone could have. She loved her nieces and nephews and enjoyed spoiling them. Her computer is full of their pictures and the many activities in which they were involved. Jacque was very family oriented and enjoyed participating in all family gatherings.

One thing that would most describe Jacque, is caregiver. From an early age, Jacque would take care of her siblings and through the years she took care of many friends. Doting on Bruce and taking care of him brought her great joy. She was dedicated to taking care of her parents and helping them through their final years.

If you talked much with Jacque, you would know how much she loved her puppies. They were her children and were some of the best kept dogs. They brought her great joy, and they knew they were loved by Jacque.

Although Jacque endured years of pain and difficult health issues, one would never know it. She maintained a very joyful outlook on life and lived it to the fullest. Her smile and laughter could light up the room. Jacque was a joy to be with and will be missed.

Jacque is survived by her husband Bruce Burns; siblings Janet Davis and her husband Charles and Randy Wilson and his wife Karla; nieces and nephews Joseph and Dustin Grams, Wesley Wilson and his wife Christi, Blake Wilson and his wife Heather, Katy Villareal and her husband Mark and Brady Wilson and his wife Brittany; seven great nieces and nephews.  And her loving fur babies Chloe and Jo Jo.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be a memorial service to celebrate Jacque’s life on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Woodcreek Church, 3400 E Renner Road, Richardson, Texas 75082. Officiated by her brother Randy Wilson.
