Jacob Richard Fruth IV, age 17, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on November 15, 2025.
Jake was born on January 23, 2008, in Plano, Texas, and from the very beginning brought a bright, compassionate spirit into the world. He was a gentle and curious soul, brave and strong, with a heart tuned to the wellbeing of others. He found peace and inspiration in the outdoors, whether walking, exploring, or simply taking in the quiet of nature. Jake cared deeply about understanding the human mind, often diving into learning about the brain and the ways it shaped who we are. More than anything, Jake wanted to make the world kinder and easier for people who were suffering. His strength, sensitivity, insight, and sincerity touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Though his life was far too short, Jake’s impact was profound. His warmth, thoughtfulness, and unwavering compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and all who loved him.
He will be forever missed, and forever cherished.
Jake is survived by his loving mother, Jennifer Pat (Hartfield) Fruth father, Jacob Richard Fruth III, and sister, Colleen Ellen Fruth.
There will be a celebration of Jake’s life at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2026, at Christ United Methodist Church, Plano, Texas,
