Jack Jennings

Jackie (Jack) Lynn Jennings, (81) of Plano, Texas passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023. He was born on May 10, l942 in Sulphur Springs Texas, the son of RC and Ruth (Sparks) Jennings and was raised in Dallas, Texas.

Jack attended Dallas schools and spent his career in the steel reinforcing industry, detailing and estimating. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a Mason and a longtime member of Hunters Glen Baptist Church.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Jack is survived by his loving wife Billie Jennings; daughter Jennifer Manley and her husband Aaron; granddaughter Abigail Grace Manley, all of Frisco, Texas; nephew Preston Leon and his wife Kamey and their children, all of Johns Creek, Georgia.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Kathryn Leon.

The family will receive friends for a visitation one hour prior to the funeral service, 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Hunters Glen Baptist Church, 4001 Custer Road, Plano, Texas.  Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Pastor Jody Mazzola.

Jack will be laid to rest at 3:00 p.m. following the service at Providence Cemetery, 4680 F.M.Rd. 195, Paris, Texas 75462.
