Isabel Abeyta

Isabel Abeyta was born June 30, 1951 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to parents Juan and Delia (Zamora) Abeyta. She left us to go home to her Lord and Savior on June 8, 2018.

She brought joy to all around her with her gentle, fun-loving spirit. Full of compassion, and deeply devoted to her family, she would give the last of what she had to help anyone in need.

Isabel was a great cook, and will be remembered for her sopapillas, enchiladas, biscochitos, pork chops, potato salad and green bean casserole. The life of the party, it never really started until she arrived! Her last few years were spent traveling the country to spend time with her grandchildren.

Isabel is survived by her children; Michael Collett and his wife Diana, Lalah Moore, Aisha Marshall, Matthew Marshall and his wife Rachel, grandchildren: Taylor and Cameron Collett, India Williams, Asiah Johnson, Makonnen and Trinity , Anora, Arianna and Elias Marshall, great grandchildren; Isaiah Hernandez and Aniyah Garcia, siblings; Robert Abeyta and his wife Marcella, Ralph Medina and his wife Gloria, Dolores Stewart and her husband Rex, David Abeyta and his wife Laura, John Abeyta Jr. and his wife Grace, Helen Bollinger and her husband Les, Carmen Elder, Rick Abeyta and his wife Pamela, Steve Abeyta and his wife Amparo. She was preceded in death by her parents Juan and Delia Abeyta, siblings; Patricio Abeyta, Max Medina, Daniel Abeyta and James Abeyta.

The family will receive friends for a viewing at Allen Family Funeral Options Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 5:00-6:00 P.M. at which time the casket will be closed. Words of Remembrance will be shared at 6:30 P.M. with her son Matthew Marshall officiating. The visitation will continue until 8:00 P.M.

Isabel will be laid to rest in a private service at Plano Mutual Cemetery.
