Irene Stella Pinto

May 16, 1941 — April 22, 2021

Irene “Leena” Pinto, 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 22, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Alexander and Winifred Castelino. She was born in Mangalore, India and in her 50's immigrated with her family to the United States.

She was an avid gardener and loved to cook. Most of all she loved her family, and instilled strong family values early on in her son's that would last a lifetime. Irene would have celebrated her 80th birthday in May.

Irene was the beloved wife of the late Henry Pinto. She was the loving mother of three boys, Clarence (Marina), Ivan (Shalet) and Adrian (Reshma). She was a proud grandmother of Anabel, Alagan, Nathan, Aaron and Anthea. She is also survived by loving family members and friends in many countries.

She will be greatly missed.

There will be a Visitation beginning at 10:30am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 1914 Ridgeview Drive, Allen, Texas 75013. For those who cannot attend, the Mass will be live streamed on the home page of the parish website www.ourladyofangels.com.
