Humberto Sabaes Garcia

ENGLISH VERSION

Julian Sabaes and Sofia Garcia were blessed with their oldest child, on june,30,1960. They named him Humberto Sabaes Garcia.

They lived in a village called Vista Hermosa located in Oaxaca, Mexico. He had a tough childhood when his father passed away. He decided to start working at a very young age to provide for his family.

Love came to his life when he was a teenager. With the name of Victoria and as he used to say, ‘Vicky de mi corazon’.

Their love was so strong, full and pure that they decided to start a new adventure and get married at the age of 17.

Soon after their lives changed radically and got the opportunity to start a new adventure together but in America, with the promise in their hearts to reach the ‘America Dream’.

He looked after his family unconditional, just like a father he looked after his ‘Baby girl’ and his ‘Boy’ , the love of his life ‘Vicky’, Los Medoza as he used to refer to all of us.

The day before we lost him, is very sad to remember but grateful because he left his will on word for us without knowing.

He came back from work as usual, tired and hungry. Went straight to his room take a bath and dress for the rest of the day. He approach to the living room first and ask his ‘Boy’ (Tony) what he was doing, and sat down next him to watch wrestling matches. Suddenly out of nowhere he asked him “ Tony do you know I love you?”. He turned to him and answer “yes why do you ask?. Mr. Humberto only need to hear and reassure he answer he already knew.

After a couple of matches he asked where his “Baby girl” was. Angela, in her room didn’t hear the call but Tony answer she is being lazy. To that he reply “That’s very good”. Immediately he told Tony – “I want you to take care of her when I am not around as well as your mom Ani and your auntie Liz. If one day I am not here you need to be the man of the house and take care, protect and support them all don’t forget Ersy, Sammy and Giovanni, you are all my family that will give my life for” – he reassures – “The Mendozas”. Tony looking at him couldn’t believe what he was thinking to what he answer with a strong loving voice “You know that I will but stop thinking that because nothing is going to happen and you will be here with us”. After a couple of matches he went to the dining room to have some food.

There he expressed before anything else that The Mendozas are his only family and wishes to be with them for eternity. With this idea in his head he told us that his blood family never call or even a letter where Tony interrupt with “we love you so much and you are going to be fine”. He didn’t stop and he said that his biggest dreams were to see his ‘Baby girl’ grown and to have the opportunity to celebrate hers sweet fifteen, as for his ‘Boy’ he wanted to know his family and be there to give him some advice.

He turned to his wife Vicky and told her that he wanted to be with her for eternity, he took a big breath and as usual start singing the song of his wife ‘Vicky de mi corazon’.

His family will be with him everyday living for his wishes and having him in every single prayer. God be with him and us.

The family will receive friends at a visitation from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Allen Family Funeral Options. A Vigil Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. and there will be a reception afterward.

Julián Sabaes y Sofía García fueron bendecidos con su hijo mayor, el 30 de junio de 1960. Lo llamaron Humberto Sabaes García.
Vivían en un pueblo llamado Vista Hermosa ubicado en Oaxaca, México. Tuvo una infancia difícil cuando su padre falleció. Decidió empezar a trabajar desde muy joven para mantener a su familia.
El amor llegó a su vida cuando era un adolescente. Con el nombre de Victoria y como él decía, 'Vicky de mi corazon'.
Su amor era tan fuerte, pleno y puro que decidieron emprender una nueva aventura y casarse a los 17 años.
Al poco tiempo sus vidas cambiaron radicalmente y tuvieron la oportunidad de emprender una nueva aventura juntos pero en América, con la promesa en sus corazones de alcanzar el ‘America Dream’.
Cuidaba incondicionalmente a su familia, como un padre cuidaba a su 'Niña' y a su 'Niño', el amor de su vida 'Vicky', Los Medoza como solía referirse a todos nosotros.
El día antes de que lo perdimos, es muy triste recordarlo pero agradecido porque dejó su testamento por palabra para nosotros sin saberlO.

Regresó del trabajo como de costumbre, cansado y hambriento. Fue directo a su habitación a bañarse y vestirse para el resto del día. Primero se acercó a la sala de estar y le preguntó a su 'niño' (Tony) qué estaba haciendo, y se sentó a su lado para ver los combates de lucha libre. De repente, de la nada, le preguntó: "Tony, ¿sabes que te amo?". Se volvió hacia él y le respondió “sí, ¿por qué lo preguntas?. El Sr. Humberto solo necesita escuchar y tranquilizar la respuesta que ya sabía.
Después de un par de partidos, preguntó dónde estaba su "niña". Angela, en su habitación, no escuchó la llamada, pero Tony respondió que estaba siendo vago. A eso él responde "Eso es muy bueno". Inmediatamente le dijo a Tony: “Quiero que la cuides cuando yo no esté, así como tu mamá Ani y tu tía Liz. Si un día no estoy aquí, debes ser el hombre de la casa y cuidarlos, protegerlos y apoyarlos a todos, no olvides a Ersy, Sammy y Giovanni, todos ustedes son mi familia que dará mi vida por ”- asegura. – “Los Mendoza”. Tony mirándolo no podía creer lo que estaba pensando a lo que respondió con una voz fuerte y cariñosa "Sabes que lo haré pero deja de pensar eso porque no va a pasar nada y estarás aquí con nosotros". Después de un par de partidos fue al comedor a comer algo.

Allí expresó ante todo que Los Mendoza son su única familia y desea estar con ellos por la eternidad. Con esta idea en la cabeza nos dijo que su familia de sangre nunca llama o incluso una carta donde Tony interrumpe con "te queremos mucho y vas a estar bien". No se detuvo y dijo que sus mayores sueños eran ver crecer a su 'Niña' y tener la oportunidad de celebrar sus quince años, en cuanto a su 'Niño' quería conocer a su familia y estar ahí para darle algún consejo.
Se volvió hacia su esposa Vicky y le dijo que quería estar con ella por la eternidad, respiró hondo y como siempre comenzó a cantar la canción de su esposa 'Vicky de mi corazón'.
Su familia estará con él todos los días viviendo por sus deseos y teniéndolo en cada oración. Dios esté con él y con nosotros.
La familia recibirá a los amigos en un velorio de 5:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m. el jueves, 9 de junio de 2022 en Allen Family Funeral Options.

Seguirá un servicio de vigilia a las 7:00 p.m. y habrá una recepción después.
