Héctor Cuayahuitl Chavez was born on October 9, 1981, in Mexico City to parents Armando Cuayahuitl Valencia and Hilda Chávez Pérez.

One of Héctor’s most notable characteristics was his love for food, his good sense of humor, his joyful nature, and his big smile. If you knew him, you knew that behind that smile there was always some funny remark that would make you burst into laughter—or perhaps get a little annoyed—but always in a kind-spirited way.

Héctor was a very hardworking and very creative man, always willing to lend a generous hand to a brother, a friend, or even someone he didn’t know. He never needed a reason to show kindness.

His legacy is that of a hardworking and visionary man who offered his help without expecting anything in return, inspiring others to follow his example.

When Héctor came to know Jesus Christ, he received Him as his only Lord and Savior, and his heart was filled with joy.

Héctor loved serving in his congregation alongside his beautiful family and sharing the gospel with as many people as he could. He was a man with flaws and virtues, with successes and mistakes. Psalm 139 reminds us that God knows and cares for each person, even in death.

Héctor is survived by his beloved children: Karina Cuayahuitl Hilb, David Héctor Cuayahuitl, Gerson Andrés Cuayahuitl, Daila Cuayahuitl, and Melissa Cuayahuitl; loving parents Armando Cuayahuitl and Hilda Chávez; siblings Manuel Cuayahuitl, Armando Cuayahuitl, Miguel Cuayahuitl, Arely Cuayahuitl, and Dulce Jasmin Cuayahuitl; paternal grandmother Carmela Valencia; maternal grandmother Floriberta Chávez, and 20 years of marriage with Laura Alejandra Cuayahuitl.

Héctor Cuayahuitl Chavez nació el 9 de octubre de 1981 en la Ciudad de México, hijo de Armando Cuayahuitl Valencia y Hilda Chávez Pérez.

Una de las características más notables de Héctor era su amor por la comida, su buen sentido del humor, su naturaleza alegre y su gran sonrisa. Si lo conocías, sabías que detrás de esa sonrisa siempre había algún comentario gracioso que te hacía estallar de risa —o quizás te molestaba un poco— pero siempre de manera amable.

Héctor era un hombre muy trabajador y muy creativo, siempre dispuesto a tender una mano generosa a un hermano, a un amigo o incluso a alguien que no conociera. Nunca necesitaba una razón para mostrar bondad.

Su legado es el de un hombre trabajador y visionario que ofrecía su ayuda sin esperar nada a cambio, inspirando a otros a seguir su ejemplo.

Cuando Héctor llegó a conocer a Jesucristo, él lo recibió como su único Señor y Salvador, y su corazón se llenó de alegría.

Héctor amaba servir en su congregación junto a su hermosa familia y compartir el evangelio con tantas personas como podía. Era un hombre con defectos y virtudes, con éxitos y errores.

El Salmo 139 nos recuerda que Dios conoce y se preocupa por cada persona, incluso en la muerte.

Héctor deja en vida a sus amados hijos: Karina Cuayahuitl Hilb, David Héctor Cuayahuitl, Gerson Andrés Cuayahuitl, Daila Cuayahuitl y Melissa Cuayahuitl; a sus amorosos padres Armando Cuayahuitl e Hilda Chávez; a sus hermanos Manuel Cuayahuitl, Armando Cuayahuitl, Miguel Cuayahuitl, Arely Cuayahuitl y Dulce Jasmin Cuayahuitl; a su abuela paterna Carmela Valencia; y a su abuela materna Floriberta Chávez, y 20 años de matrimonio con Laura Alejandra Cuayahuitl.
