Glenn Edward Little

June 17, 1939 — October 22, 2019

Glenn Edward Little was born prematurely on his granddaddy’s farm outside the town of Kenton, Tennessee to parents  Luther and  LaVerne Haley Little. As an only child, Glenn helped his parents on the farm until age 17, at which time, he moved to Memphis. Glenn went to work for a fertilizer company, where he met the love of his life, Paula. A few years after they married, he graduated Suma Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree from Memphis State University (now known as The University of Memphis), all while working full-time.

Glenn discovered that he loved sales and became a successful self-employed salesman. He had a life-long interest in cars and knew a great deal about them. He could also tell you a lot about tractors. During his working years, he traveled the United States and parts of Canada. He loved maps and had an uncanny ability to remember the details of any place he had driven to.

Glenn enjoyed playing Sudoku and any other mentally challenging game. He was a devoted Christian man, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and he will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Glenn passed from this life on October 22, 2019 at his home in Plano, Texas surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Paula Little, children Margaret Eversull and her husband John and Susan Everett and her husband Michael, grandchildren Christopher Muenstermann, Melissa New and her husband Jason, Jonathan Muenstermann, William Eversull, Macey Eversull, Austin Everett, Kyle Everett and Grace Everett and great-grandchildren Collin New and Elaina New. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Helen.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Monday, October 28, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Allen Family Funeral Options. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Custer Road United Methodist Church, 6601 Custer Road, Plano, Texas 75023 with Reverend John Richardson officiating.

Because of Glenn’s struggle with Parkinson’s Disease, the family wishes to encourage anyone who may be interested to research brain donation to further the study and understanding of Parkinson’s.
