Gina Kay Forsythe

Gina Kay Forsythe was born June 14, 1955 in Puerto Rico to parents Floyd and Rubye (Welsh) Forsythe.   She passed from this life to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 17, 2017.

After relocating several times Gina’s family eventually settled in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Her successful career led her to Plano where she devoted her life to raising her loving daughter Emily.  Gina worshiped at Prestonwood Baptist Church and worked as a successful executive in Advertising until her retirement in 2015.

Gina is survived by her daughter Emily Faith Forsythe (Jake Kronshage), brother Robert Forsythe (Glenda), sister Dolores Forsythe (Allen), nephews Garrett, Brent and Cole Forsythe, cousin Mary Neville, Aunt Nina Allen and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Rubye Forsythe and her chosen surrogate parents Bill and Lola Head.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at Allen Family Funeral Options. She will be laid to rest with her parents, at a family graveside service on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. at Greenwood Cemetery, 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76107. A memorial service to celebrate Gina’s life will be held Monday, October 23, 2017 at 3:30 P.M. at Prestonwood Baptist Church, Faith Chapel, 6801 W Park Blvd, Plano, Texas 75093 with Dr. Jarrett Stephens officiating.
