Gary Einion Beckwith

On August 27, 2019 Gary Einion Beckwith passed away at his home in Moore, OK at the age of 68.

Gary was born on April 23, 1951 in Norwich, New York to Einion and Esther Beckwith. Gary graduated from Crowley High School in 1969. In High School Gary played Varsity Basketball and Baseball. He did attend the University of Texas at Arlington. Gary’s first job was working as a stock clerk for Buddies Grocery in Ft. Worth. He was trained as a butcher and worked for Sam’s Club, Walmart and Crest Foods. He spent some time working as lift truck operator for Target, Big Lots and most recently the Professional Sports Catering LLC, which provided the concession supplies for the baseball stadium of the Oklahoma City Dodgers, the AAA farm club. Gary also enjoyed bowling and golf. Gary loved his dog, Sandie who has been by his side for the past 14 years, they were inseparable. They will be buried side by side which is so fitting for their relationship.

Gary is survived by his father, Einion, of Crowley; brother, Terry W. Beckwith of Crowley, wife Jackie and their three daughters, Jessica, Terri Ann and Brandi. Sister, Tina M Beckwith Pugh of Celina, husband Mel and their children Bobby and Melissa. Brother, Larry E Beckwith of Atlanta, wife Teresa and their children Sam and Kate. His stepdaughter whom he always considered his daughter, Andrea Parker of Moore, OK, husband Jimmy and three girls, granddaughters and they were the pride and joy of Gary’s life, Madison, Savanah and Vanessa. Great nieces and nephew, EmmaMerie, Jackson, and Caleigh. Gary is predeceased in death by his mother, Esther and youngest brother Wayne.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Gary’s life on Monday, September 9, 2019, beginning at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Crowley, 509 Peach Street, 76036. Gary will be laid to rest in the Crowley Cemetery, 300 N. Hampton Road, Crowley.
