Gabriele Vera Recker

Gabriele Vera Recker, 61, of Murphy, Texas passed away on September 23 ^rd of 2020 in Plano, Texas. She was surrounded by her family and their love.

Gabriele was born in Fort Benning, Georgia to German immigrants Guenter and Christa Krumlinde on June 20 ^th , 1959. In childhood, Gabriele accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She went to high school at Eldorado High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico and graduated in 1977. She studied elctro-mechanical drafting at Technical Vocational Institute where she met John, the love of her life. Following her education, Gabriele was recruited to work as a draftsman at Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas. Gabriele later earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Dallas while working full-time and taking care of her husband and twin boys. She enjoyed cooking, travelling, interior decorating, playing cards and Mah Jong, and being with her family and dogs. She was actively involved in service to her church family.

Gabriele is survived by her husband, John Recker of Murphy, Texas; son, Adam Recker and his wife Sarah of Frisco, Texas; son, Matthew Recker and his wife Tarah of McKinney, Texas; sister, Corin Zaffery and her husband Dean of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brother, Glenn Krumlinde and his wife Michelle of Phoenix, Arizona; father, Guenter Krumlinde of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren, Stella, Anderson, and Paxton; nieces, Katianna and Alena. Gabriele is preceded in death by her mother, Christa Krumlinde.

Services to honor Gabriele will be held on Tuesday, September 29 ^th at 1 pm at Murphy Road Baptist Church, 411 Murphy Road, Murphy, Texas. Guests may pay their respects as early as 12 pm. Burial will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.
