Almaza Frances (Rahhal) Wolf, 81, of Plano, Texas, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Baylor Scott White, T.B, Pickens Cancer Center in Dallas, Texas.
Frances was born in Healdton, Oklahoma, on August 21, 1942, to S. A. (Frank) and Helen (Mettry) Rahhal. She was named after her maternal grandmother which translates to “Diamond” that perfectly fit Frances. She graduated from Duncan High School, Duncan, Oklahoma, and received a BBA from the University of Oklahoma majoring in accounting. During her career, she worked as an accountant at several companies completing her career at the Court Reporting Institute, Dallas, Texas.
While residing in Houston, Texas, she met the love of her life, Eddie Wolf, and was married on June 15, 1968. Their union produced a beautiful daughter, Stephanie.
Frances was a talented artist specializing in China Painting on Porcelain and thoroughly enjoyed teaching several of her grandnieces the techniques. A member of the Northeast Texas Porcelain Club, Frances served as Treasurer and President at various times. She was an animal lover with her fat cats and playful dogs and enjoyed gardening in her yard. She was a member of the Plano Garden Club, always seeking ways to improve her landscaping.
She had a love of the arts and especially enjoyed concerts by the Plano Symphony Orchestra. Frances was energetic and loved traveling with her friends. She enjoyed participating in Bible study groups with her church and with her sister-in-law’s Bible group.
Frances’ smile and accepting personality will be missed by her family, friends, and acquaintances. She always reached out to people with friendship and a laugh, opening her heart, home and graciousness to all.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Wolf; sister Jean Muller of The Woodlands, Texas; sister Mary Romano, Centennial, Colorado; sister-in-law Susanne Walsh and her husband Bill of Richardson, Texas, and brother Bill Rahhal and his wife Micky of Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was predeceased by her husband, Eddie Wolf, her parents and a brother, Alfred Rahhal.
The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Allen Family Funeral Options.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Frances's life at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2024 at Christ United Methodist Church Plano, 3101 Coit Rd, Plano, Texas 75075; with a reception to follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Northeast Texas Porcelain Club, Plano Garden Center’s Alexandra’s Christmas Tree Project, Christ United Methodist Church Plano or any other charity of their choosing.
