Ernesto "Ernie" Denoso Arceno, 71 years of age, passed away on November 19, 2018 at Baylor Scott and White hospital in McKinney, Texas. He was born on February 2, 1947 in Borongan Eastern Samar Philippines to the late Doroteo and Julita Arceno. He was the eldest of the seven children, two preceded him in death.
Ernie married the late Adela Arceno, in 1971, and one daughter was born from this union. He professed his life to Christ at the height of his career as a businessman. His family moved to San Jose, Antique in 1977 and started his business as the Manager of E. D. Arceno Marketing, home of furniture and appliances, for 22 years. Both Ernie and Adela became an active member of the Couples for Christ- Antique Chapter where they loved working and serving the ministries of the CFC.
In 1998, Ernie and Adela left the Philippines and retired in New York City. They moved to Texas, in 2013, to be with their daughter Lynn (Bebot) and her family in McKinney, Texas.
Ernie loved to sing karaoke, eat, watch his Filipino teleserye/soap operas (especially Probinsyano and Halik), travel and spend time with family, even in the midst of going to dialysis three times a week for four hours since 2015. He loved to laugh and was a generous giver. He was a loving and caring person. He was a devoted father, a good provider, an understanding husband, a compassionate brother, a considerate friend, a warmhearted brother in law and always thinking of others first.
"TO KNOW HIM WAS TO LOVE HIM...."
Tatay Ernie leaves to cherish his loving memory...his daughter Lynn (Bebot), son in law Glenn, his one and only favorite granddaughter Breanna, his living siblings Babie, Bebot, Ofelia and Renato, his nephews and nieces, brothers in law and sisters in law.
“He was my first love, my first Hero, always will be my DAD!”
