Enrique Cardenas

Enrique Cardenas passed in peace after a battle with dementia on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the age of 87.  He was born on July 15,1934 to Eugenia Martinez and Ventura Cardenas.

Our father was a lifelong jokester and loved to tell jokes.  He enjoyed playing handball during his younger years.  He had the passion for boxing and baseball.  He enjoyed playing chess and was always determined to win.  One of his biggest traditions was on Easter Sunday when he attended the bullfights in Juarez every year with his family.  He was happiest when spending time with his family and singing along to his favorite music.

Enrique leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his loving memory his sons, Enrique Cardenas, Jose Ventura Cardenas, Jose Alberto Cardenas (deceased) and Sergio Cardenas; daughters, Patricia Cardenas, Graciela Cardenas and Edith Cardenas; 17 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 6 great, great grandchildren.

Our father touched many lives and his loving spirit will be remembered after his passing.

There will be a Visitation/Viewing from 1:00pm - 4:00pm on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Allen Family Funeral Options.
