Family gatherings were filled with laughter, delicious food, and rousing conversations. Dr. Umoh was born into the Catholic faith but, later in life, embraced the Pentecostal faith. He capitalized on his religious upbringing during his prolonged illness and developed a deep and abiding relationship with the Lord. At the point of his death, Dr. Umoh was totally submissive to the will of God in His live.

Dr. Umoh tirelessly advocated for sustainable ways to uplift village communities in rural Nigeria through both his leadership of community organizations and personal charitable pursuits.
