Eleanor "Ellie" Joy Evetts

August 1, 2022 — August 1, 2022

Eleanor “Ellie” Joy Evetts was born on August 1st, 2022 two minutes after her twin sister, Emma Mae. Two hours after coming into this world, Ellie passed away peacefully at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in McKinney, Texas.

Born three weeks early, she weighed 4 lbs, 12 oz and was 18” long. Ellie spent her brief life in the arms of the two people on earth who loved her the most and will spend eternity in the arms of Jesus who loves her even more. Ellie leaves a legacy of “Joy” as we remember that joy comes from the Lord, and not our circumstances.

Ellie joins her maternal great grandfathers, Fred Adair and Max Simnitt, Sr. and her paternal great grandparents, Jerry and Darlene Evetts, and Harold and Irene Schulze in heaven. She is survived by her parents, Scott and Leah Evetts, her sister, Emma Mae Evetts, her grandparents, Greg and Barbara Evetts, and Max and Susan Simnitt, Jr., her great grandmothers Nila Mae Adair and Gwynne Simnitt, her aunts and uncles Dave and Erin Oyler, Callie Simnitt, and Travis Simnitt.

A celebration of life will take place at Allen Family Funeral Options in Plano, Texas at 3:00 pm on September 2, 2022, with a reception to follow. If you wish to join the service via webcast, please visit: http://webcast.funeralvue.com/events/viewer/77923

which Ellie’s life reminds us.
