Dr. Jason H. Moshier

Dr. Jason H. Moshier, loving husband, father, and friend, died on April 7, 2021 at home in Dallas Texas. Jason was born on January 3, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan to Loreen and Herbert Moshier.

Jason knew from an early age that he wanted to be a pediatrician. After graduating from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and attending medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, he built his life in Dallas, where he served as a pediatrician for the past 40 years. He began his career as a pediatrician with North Dallas Pediatrics, where he served multiple generations of patients and their families for over 38 years. In 2019, he relocated to Pediatric Healthcare Associates in McKinney, Texas, with many of his patients following him, where he continued to do what he loved. Jason was well respected in the medical field and known for always allowing parents to advocate for the best treatment for their children. Jason enjoyed his ability to help children and their families, and will be remembered for the loving, kind, and compassionate care he showed to them. His integrative approach to medicine truly made him one of a kind.

In addition to Jason’s many professional accomplishments, he was also a runner, mountain climber, avid fly fisherman, music aficionado, dog lover, and photobomber. He was also an amazing husband, father, and friend, and an advisor to many. He was loved for his intelligence, love of life, unquenchable positive outlook, energy, and kindness. Most important to him was his love of his family and the enjoyment he had spending time with them.

He is survived by his wife Dawn Moshier, his son Sebastiano Moshier, and his brothers, Jeffery Moshier and Stephen (Marsha) Moshier.  Jason Moshier was preceded in death by his parents, Loreen and Herbert Moshier.

A Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Allen Family Funeral Options. The Celebration of Life will begin at 3:00 pm.  Masks are optional.  The family would like to see his friends and patients at this celebration of Jason’s life.
