Dorothy Baker Dalseg

Dorothy Baker Dalseg, age 92, of Plano, Texas, passed away on April 13, 2026.

Dorothy was born June 27, 1933, in Williamston, North Carolina to Claude Eston and Irene (Harris) Baker. She spent her early career as a records clerk for the FBI, where she met and married her husband John William Dalseg. With a passion for home design and due to the travels necessitated by her husband’s career, she found success as a real estate agent. She was a dedicated member of Christ United Methodist Church and its Women’s Bible Study Group. She will be remembered as a strong, independent woman with a love for God and family, not to mention her incredible sense of humor.

Dorothy is survived by her children Karen DeCapua, Kristen Valentine and her spouse Anne; granddaughter Michaella DeCapua; sister Janie Fogle and her husband Wayne; brother William Baker and his wife Sandy; nephews and niece Tim Rogers, Christopher Rogers and Ciana Bester; great-nieces and great-nephews Abbey, Justin, Chris Jr, Jake, Ryan, and Sofia.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Christ United Methodist Church, Plano, Texas.
