Doris Nunnery was born on Sunday, November 18, 1945 in Bellville, Texas, the daughter of Robert and Doris (Lyons) Bishop. She passed this life on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 75 1 month and 27 days of age.

The former Miss Doris Bishop was a 1964 graduate of Pearland, Texas High School. She was the owner of U.S. Pipeline. Doris married James Nunnery on May 29, 1981 in Lake Zurich, Illinois. Doris loved to play Golf, Shop, play Bunco with her friends, family game night and travel. She was a member of Life Church, Kenosha Campus in Broken Arrow.

She is survived by daughters Stacey Zimmerman and her husband Scott of Prosper, Texas, Miley Curgus and her husband James of Frisco, Texas, Wendy Westberg and her James Hoggatt of Nevada, Texas,  Leslie Thompson and her husband Joe of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Terri Clark and her husband Barry of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; sons Randy Nunnery and his wife Nanci of Fort Collins, Colorado and Jody Nunnery of Stephenville, Texas; grandchildren Cortland, Madison, Taylor, Ryan, Lauren, Garrett, Elizabeth, Matthew, Hannah, Zachary, Alec, Vale, Collin, Preston, Zach, Tyler, Cy, Cliff, Amber, Sarrah, Rie, Jaime and Kase; great grandchildren Riley, Elijah, Blakely, Matthew, Kit, Miles, Ashlynn, Gabriel, Easton and Aaliyah; brother Jay Bishop of Bellville, Texas

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Doris Bishop; husband James; brother, Bob and sister Mattie.

Doris will be laid to rest with her husband at a graveside service Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Wear Cemetery, 6470 East 1st Street, Prosper, Texas 75078.
