Donna Kay Wood

Donna Kay (Givan) Wood, age 50, passed away on February 6, 2019 in Carrollton, Texas. She was born on November 3, 1968 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Thomas Dale Givan and Vicki Dianne (Fuller) Givan.

In 1992, Donna graduated with High Honors from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. She most recently worked for Vendor Resource Management as a Vice President of Internal Audit.

Donna was also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed Real Estate Broker and a Six Sigma Green Belt.

She had an adventurous nature being an avid traveler and a licensed pilot with her first solo flight on August 12, 2011.

Donna will be most remembered as loving, kind, generous, courageous, intelligent, and compassionate with real zest for life. She was an amazing friend, mother and partner.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Mariah Wood, son, Robert Wood and her significant other, Kenneth Silva.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Allen Family Funeral Options.
