Dianne Tweedie

June 12, 1943 — February 22, 2025

Wonderful grandmother, loving mother, and incredible friend, Dianne Tweedie died the morning of February 22, 2025, surrounded by family.

The youngest of four daughters, she was born June 12, 1943, to Polish immigrants Stanley and Francis Bobinski in Toronto, Canada.

On February 20, 1965, Dianne married Robert (Bob) Tweedie and immediately moved to Chicago where they soon began their own family.

In January of 1979, the family moved to Plano, Texas, where Dianne started her 20-year career in direct marketing for Aegon, the life insurance division of JC Penney.

Widowed at 51, Dianne spent her remaining years focusing on family, friends, and travel. In between her many cruises, she spent her retirement years in multiple book clubs, going to the theater, playing bridge, Mah Jong, and Canasta.

Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister Jenny, and her daughter-in-law Madi. She is survived by her sisters Mary and Helen, her sons Michael, Steven and his wife Sara, and Peter and his wife Lizzy, her grandchildren Ryder, Ian, Claire, William, Sean and Mariel.

Dianne was outgoing, sociable, encouraging and loving. She will be dearly missed.
