David Bruce Ward was born on November 5, 1955 in Sherman, Texas. He passed gently into the arms of Jesus surrounded by his bride, Juliana and his children and grandchildren on November 27, 2023 in Frisco, Texas. David was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in August of 2023, and although his battle was brief, he fought fiercely with a deep faith both in God’s plan and in His ability to heal.
David was a servant to his friends and family, raising four children to have courage, faith and dependence on God. He was married to his wife, Juliana (Nelson) Ward, for 38 years. David was a committed worker and business owner. He devoted 33 years to The Ward Agency, where he built a life for his family and relationships with clients whom he loved as friends.
He is survived by his wife Juliana and their four children, son-in-law and daughters-in law: Mackenzie Popescu and Nicholas, Tanner Ward and Molly, Nelson Evan Ward and Morgan and Slater Ward. The Lord graciously gave David the opportunity to know his two young grandchildren, Charlie and Remina, before taking him home and he will lovingly be remembered as their “Daddo.” He is also survived by his brother, Dexter Ward and wife Lois. David is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Patricia Ward, and his sister, Bettina Healey and nephew Micah Ward. He is missed by a great number of cousins, nephews, nieces, in-laws and friends.
The family is grateful for your support and condolences during this time.
A public service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Frisco Bible Church, 8000 Sanctuary Dr., Frisco, Texas 75033.
