David Lemus Medina passed away on February 2, 2021 at the age of 72 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on October 29, 1948 to Ernest and Luz Medina in New Orleans, Louisiana. David loved God, family, and country above all. He was a never-ending teacher and mentor; was an Eagle Scout, Staff Sergeant of the USAF, and National President of Alpha Phi Sigma; attended W.W. Samuell High School, Arlington State College, Midwestern University, and the University of Michigan. GO BLUE!

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Jim Finke.

David is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Cynthia Bounds Medina of Plano, Texas, his son, Aaron Medina and wife Sharon of Frisco, Texas, son Byron Medina and his wife Kristina of Little Elm, Texas. David is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Kelsey, Caden, Raegen, Jake, Meghan, Hannah, Ryan, and Jordan; and his sister Martha Villwock and husband Jim, and sister Ruth Finke; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a Visitation beginning at 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Allen Family Funeral Options.

At 7:00 pm there will be sharing of Words of Remembrance, also at Allen Family Funeral Options.

Burial will be private at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery on February 26, 2021.
