David Chapman Levine

David Chapman Levine passed from this life into eternal glory on December 2, 2018. He was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas on November 2, 1963 to Jerry Levine and Jo Elizabeth Chapman Levine.

He graduated from Plano Sr. High School in 1982 and attended Richland College and The University of North Texas. David enjoyed a long career in retail management and had been employed with Tom Thumb grocery stores as a store director for 28 years. He will be remembered for his service given with dedication, his generosity and his infectious smile.

David married the love of his life, Barbara Kay Eitelman on February 28, 2003. David was a devoted and loving husband and father. Their daughter, Emma, was the joy of his life. He was a man of strong faith, believing in the redemptive power and strength of Jesus Christ’s love. He had a strong compassion for those less fortunate and sought to help those he saw in need. He loved to spend time with his family, taking trips to Wisconsin to go fishing, to Destin, Florida and cruises to the Caribbean. He was also a die hard Green Bay Packers fan.

David was preceded in death by his parents Gerald Lee Levine and Jo Elizabeth Chapman Levine and grandparents.

David is survived by his wife Barbara and daughter Emma, his brother Lee Levine and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Celebration of life service will be held at Hunters Glen Baptist Church on Custer Rd in Plano, Texas on Friday, December 7 at 11:00 a.m.
