David Enright

March 20, 1987 — December 7, 2021

David Peter Enright, beloved son, dear brother, and cherished uncle – died of an accidental overdose after a long battle with addiction on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, in Dallas, Texas. He was 34 years old.

He was born on March 20, 1987, in McKinney, Texas to Mary and William Enright. He grew up in Plano, Texas, graduating from Plano East Senior High in 2006.

From a young age, David had an eye for beauty. It became his vocation, and artistry, his talent. He was also known for an abundance of warmth, a charitable heart, a tight embrace, an infectious joy, a guileless sincerity, a charismatic panache, striking good looks, and a bright-eyed, deep engagement with whatever and whomever he encountered.

As an artist extraordinaire, he saw a grandness in the world of which most of us only catch glimpses. The legacy he leaves behind will live on, in the echoes of his laughter and in everyone who was blessed to know him. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Grace and peace to him and may his soul find that eternal rest that eluded him in this life.

David was blessed with a close-knit family and is survived by his mother, Mary; father, William; and four siblings, Daniel, Joseph, Martha and Joshua.
