Danny C. Hindes

Danny C. Hindes was born March 23, 1961 in Lubbock, Texas to Ernest Christy Hindes and Donna Jeannine Wyvell Hindes. He had an older brother, Duane, and a younger sister, Kelly. Dan met Ruth McCullough in high school and they married on May 21, 1983, shortly after he graduated from Texas A&M University. Dan and Ruth had 4 children: Zachary Carter Hindes, Nicholas James Hindes, Logan Reed Hindes, and Jenna Ruth Hindes.

Dan was a loving and devoted husband and father. He would go to any lengths to make his wife and children happy. There was no job too big or unknown for him to tackle.  Instead, everything was a puzzle to solve. He could fix a car, remodel a bathroom, install a sprinkler system, rewire the electrical in a room, and anything else imaginable. He was a role model for all husbands and fathers.

In his professional career he worked for Boeing, BAE Systems, AIRCOM International, TEOCO and State Farm. At every stop he took great personal and professional pride and satisfaction in his work. Throughout his career he made a lasting impact on those around him.

Dan passed away unexpectedly on July 20 ^th , 2018 surrounded by his wife and 4 children.  He will be forever missed and forever loved.

He is survived by his wife Ruth McCullough Hindes, sons Zachary Carter Hindes, Nicholas James Hindes and Logan Reed Hindes and daughter Jenna Ruth Hindes.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 3:00 pm in the chapel at Allen Family Funeral Options. A reception will follow at the funeral home.
