November 13, 1956 — October 6, 2020

Curtis Wayne Knigge was born November 13, 1956 in San Diego, California to parents Lee Verne and Antoinette (Intorcia) Knigge.

Our family just lost a major link in the chain on Tuesday, October 6th, 2020. When Curtis Wayne Knigge, also known as "papa", "Curt", and "dad" died from natural causes.

He migrated from California to Houston, Texas where he met and married his wife of 43 years, Alma also known as Suki. He had one daughter, Vanessa.

Curtis's career was in construction all his life which he started from the ground up. All that knew him called him kind, thoughtful, generous, and he had a quick wit. He enjoyed his music by playing his guitar and keyboard on a daily basis. He loved his family and friends. He touched so many lives and he will be missed forever.

Curtis is survived by his loving wife Alma (Suki) Knigge; daughter Vanessa Cantwell; grandchildren McKenzie and Bud Cantwell; brothers Vernon Knigge and his wife Barbara and James Knigge; sister in law Christine Hayes.   He was preceded in death by his parents and son in law Howard Cantwell.
