Crisy Ing

Christine (Crisy) Ing was born June 21, 1954, in Pensacola, Florida in a Naval Base Hospital to parents Walfred and Velma (Luttrell) Nelson. She passed away peacefully on August 21, 2022, in Allen, Texas.

After her father (Wally Nelson) retired from the Navy, her parents moved to Southern California where she grew-up.

From a very young age, Crisy showed signs of being a very intelligent woman. She earned her BA from Lavern University, her MA from Riverside University and a PHD from UCLA.

Beyond her academic accomplishments, Crisy loved doing craft work. And at one point in time, she owned her own Graphic Art Company.

Crisy married her love (Mel Ing) in Honolulu Hawaii on July 27, 1997. She will be buried with Mel in the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.

Crisy is survived by her mom Velma Nelson, brother Randy Nelson, Daughter Jennifer Claudio, grandson Issac Claudio and a granddaughter Faith Anne Claudio.
