Christopher Micheal Ybarra who was born in San Angelo, Texas on December 15, 1978 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 after battling a courageous fight, surrounded by his loved ones.

Chris was a true inspiration to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was tenacious, and approached life with positive energy and an infectious spirit; always seeking to bring joy to those around him.

Ybarra was a true Texas gentleman, with impeccable manners, charm, and kindness that won the hearts of everyone he met. His kindness and optimistic soul was a true inspiration to the lives he touched.

Sports were more than just a pastime for Chris; they were a passion that ran deep in his veins. As a die-hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he lived and breathed football. He relished any opportunity to share his love of sports with his friends and family, whether it was watching a game together or engaging in spirited debates about the latest plays and players.

But above all, Chris was a devoted family man. Daughters, Trinity, Anastazia, and Mia, were the Apple of his eye, and he would light up with pride whenever he spoke about them. He cherished every moment spent with them, and his love for them knew no bounds. Chris is also survived by his best friend and brother, Jacob, who stood by his side through thick and thin, and his loving father, Trini and mother, Susie, who were pillars of strength and support. Chris was also blessed and supported by his many family members, his Grandma, Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins, along with many friends. They will all deeply miss Chris and the happiness he brought to their lives.

Chris was a man of many passions, but at the top of his list was his love for Melissa. He adored her, and spending time with her was his greatest joy. Together, they embarked on countless adventures, eagerly exploring new parts of the world and diving into new experiences. They were a dynamic duo, united by their shared love for travel, cuisine, and all genres of music. Whether they were dancing the night away or trying a new dish at a local restaurant, Chris and Melissa were always in sync, perfectly attuned to each other's needs and desires. Their bond was unbreakable, and their adventures together will forever remain a testament to their love.

Chris's spirit will live on in the memories of those whose lives he touched. We are grateful for the time we had with him, and we will always remember him with love and admiration.
