Christina Diane Ramirez

Christina Diane Ramirez was born April 20, 1979, in Dallas, Texas to parents Carlos and Frankie (Willis) Ramirez.

Christina loved the Lord with all her heart, all her soul, and all her mind. She took advantage of opportunities to share her faith with people she encountered.

As a mother to Camille, she was selfless and made sacrifices to ensure her family’s happiness. She loved her daughter immensely and always called her her best friend.

Christina and her parents were very close. She was so proud to call her dad her mentor. She would say he taught her everything she knew about sales; and she was successful in her field of hotel/hospitality sales. She and her mom were great friends and loved to spend time together watching movies/series on tv. They listened to praise and worship music, danced in the living room, and often laughed until their sides hurt. Christina was an excellent cook and enjoyed making new dishes for family and friends or dog treats for her family’s dogs. Several years ago, she had a part time business called Cheesecake Chica selling cheesecakes to family, friends, and a local restaurant.

Christina was a friend’s friend. She loved to help people, whether it was stopping to take a woman in a wheelchair to McDonalds and then to her brother’s house, helping a school district find a temporary safe home for a single mom and her children who were fleeing an abusive situation, or texting or calling her friends, and her mom’s friends, just to check on them and pray with them.

Christina is survived by her loving mother Frankie Ramirez; her cherished daughter Camille Pania; and her grandmother Beatriz Ramirez; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Carlos Ramirez and her brother Steven Ramirez.

There will be a memorial service to celebrate Christina’s life at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 16, 2024 at Grace Church, with  Pastor Garrett Hawfitch officiating.
