Christian Wright

Richard Christian Wright was born September 23, 1961, in Denison, Texas to Richard Ferrell and Marilyn Hall Wright.  Christian passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at the age of 61 after a month-long battle with heart failure.

He and his sister, Kelle, attended Denison schools. Christian was a standout tennis player. He graduated from DHS in 1980. He attended Grayson College and later earned his Texas Real Estate license. He enjoyed a career in sales and customer service. His friends remember him as the life of the party.  He was a Southern gentleman with a big heart. He loved everything about Christmas and especially Christmas movies.

Christian is survived by his nephew, Jeffery Crowell, and brother-in-law, Roger Palmer, both of Denison, his niece Jennifer Crowell, of Carrollton, great nieces and nephews, and wonderful friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Kelle Wright Palmer.

An evening of remembrance for Christian is scheduled for Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 5:00 -7:00 pm at Allen Family Funeral Options.  Please join family and friends to share stories and hugs at this come and go reception.

His last act of kindness was as an organ donor. His donation benefitted over 200 people.
