Chris Jones

Christopher Lee Jones was born December 23, 1970 in Little Rock, Arkansas to parents Donald Lee and Deborah (O’Neal)Jones.

Chris graduated from J.J. Pearce High School in 1989. He started cooking at a young age and soon became a talented chef and caterer. He owned a successful backflow testing business, but continued to cook for fun.

Chris loved music, art, food, and constantly trying new things, but most importantly he loved people. Those who knew Chris remember him as a genuine, loving, and selfless person, who would do anything for anybody. Any stranger that met him almost instantly became his friend. His heart was full of love, compassion, kindness, and giving. His fun-loving spirit will never be forgotten by his family and friends.

Chris is survived by his daughters Lily Jones, Amanda Jones and Hayley McKinney; parents Don and Deb Jones; siblings Nathan Jones and his wife Preethi and Nickey Jones; aunts and uncles Peggy O'Neal Ebbing, Jerry O'Neal and his wife Pat, Ron Jones and his wife Sharla, Dianne Jones Baggett and her husband Sam; nieces and nephews Vincent, Audrey, Naomi and Kristin Jones; and many loving friends.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Allen Family Funeral Options. There will be a memorial service to celebrate Chris’s life, Friday, November 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Freedom Church, 2435 E Hebron Pkwy, Carrollton, Texas 75010.
