Charles (Chuck) Schuelke, Jr.

April 21, 1964 — February 25, 2018

Charles Edward Schuelke, Jr. was born April 21, 1964 in Gunnison, Colorado to parents Charles Edward, Sr and Anne Schuelke. Chuck went to be with his Heavenly Father, unexpectedly on February 25, 2018 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Chuck moved to Texas as a teen and was a member of the debate team at Plano Senior High School in Plano, Texas and graduated in 1982. He went on to the University of Texas and graduated in 1987. He also was a graduate student at the University of Connecticut.

He met Lisa Ader in Chicago in 1993 and they were married on June 10, 1995. They had their first child, daughter Astrid, in April of 1997 in Chicago and then their son, Henry in September of 1998 in Plano.

Chuck loved to cook and enjoyed fine wine. He was a lover of international travels and planned epic family vacations to Australia, Hawaii, London, Paris, Germany, Austria, Vienna and Prague. He was also an avid reader and a strong UT fan.

This last trip he took to Mexico with Lisa was credited to his outstanding performance with his company as an IT consultant.

Chuck was an adoring husband to his wife Lisa and a loving father to his children Astrid and Henry. He is also survived by his father Charles Schuelke, sister Jennifer Walker and her husband Patrick and their son Joshua Walker, brothers and sisters in law Laurel Wegner, Lindee Kutemeier and her husband Al, Tim Ader and his wife Lana, Lydia Staniszeski and her husband Mike, Leslie Hart and her husband Bobby and many additional loving nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Anne Schuelke and his mother and father in law Avis and Robert (Peanut) Ader.

The family will receive friends at a visitation Friday, March 2, 2018 at 9:00 A.M. at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, Texas. A Mass of the Resurrection will follow the visitation at 10:30 A.M. with The Reverend Bruce Bradley officiating.
