Charles Harvey Hatcher

Charles Harvey Hatcher, 81, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026. He was ready to leave his earthly home and enter the presence of his Lord and Savior, free from pain and worry.

Charles was born on February 19, 1945, to Braswell and Willie Ruth Hatcher, who both preceded him in death. He was raised in Fort Worth, Texas, where he attended North Richland Hills High School and graduated in 1964. He continued his education at the University of Texas at Arlington, earning a bachelor's degree in finance.

Charles enjoyed a successful career in the battery industry for nearly 20 years. He also worked alongside friends in various business ventures. In 2004, he became co-owner of Red River Harley-Davidson in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Charles loved riding motorcycles and taking trips with his friends. He enjoyed a wide variety of activities throughout his life, including playing basketball in high school, golfing, snow skiing, and playing poker and pool with friends and family.

Charles will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Cheryl Teague Hatcher; his daughter, Julie Garnett; his sons, Chad Hatcher and Jonathan Hatcher; and his three grandchildren, Dylan, Madison, and Leah, who were truly the joy of his life.

He will be deeply missed, and his loving legacy will remain in our hearts forever.

A memorial service celebrating Charles's life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 28, 2026, at Allen Family Funeral Options. The family will receive friends for visitation that will begin at 2:00 p.m.
