Charles "Chuck" J. Krsek

March 9, 1940 — October 23, 2020

On October 23, 2020 Charles (Chuck) J. Krsek of Dallas, Texas passed away at the age of 80 years.

Chuck was born on March 9, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois. He married Pat, his childhood sweetheart, in 1961. They moved to Canton, Illinois where Chuck worked as a die sinker at International Harvester. In 1977, they moved to Plano, Texas where he continued as a master die sinker at General Dynamics. Later Chuck worked as a realtor and as a car dealership customer service manager. He was a skilled tradesman, and we often laughed that he was, at different times in his life, a butcher, baker, and candlestick maker.

In his spare time, Chuck served as crew chief for the Sky Kats hot air balloon team and for Big Red Again. He also flew small airplanes, raced motorcycles, and drove race cars. He enjoyed doing laps at Texas Motor Speedway. Chuck loved fishing; from ice fishing on Lake Michigan to deep sea fishing in Florida, he always enjoyed being on the water. He even owned three different pontoon boats, treating family and friends to relaxing days on Lake Texoma. Chuck frequently traveled and took vacations with his family throughout the United States as well as Bermuda, Hawaii, Belize, and the Caribbean. As a volunteer, Chuck served organizations that were important to him, including Bent Tree Bible Fellowship and the Collin County Sheriff’s Department.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia (Pat) Krsek; daughters, Julie Staples (Daniel Mintie) and Sheryl Teague (Jeff Teague) and  grandchildren Jennifer Teague and John Teague.

There will be a Visitation beginning at 5:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Allen Family Funeral Options, 2112 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas 75023. The family requests that all who attend wear masks and practice socially distancing.

Interment services will be private.
