Charlene P. Delos-Santos

Former Hampton Roads resident Charlene P. Delos-Santos, 74, passed away May 31, 2017 at Baylor Heart Hospital of Plano in Plano, Texas. Charlene was born February 28,1943 in Brooklyn, New York. Her parents, who preceded her in death, were Rudolfo and Evelyn Montemayor. Charlene served her country as a wife of a serviceman for over 18 years. And no matter where she lived her love for New York City stayed strong, especially for her two favorite teams the Yankees and the Giants. Charlene worked in retail most of her life with stints as an owner and manager of a Flowers Bakery in Virginia Beach as well as an associate of Super K-Mart in Virginia Beach. Although she is considered a mom to all that crossed her path, she is survived by her son Rudy and his wife Lisa, her daughter Roanna, and her grandson Matthew. At her request, there will be no viewing. There will be a Celebration of Life service in Virginia Beach, VA at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on July 15, 2017 at 11:00 am with a reception to follow.
